Canada Day, Celebrating 50 years of Flags!

The day will be filled with music, activities and the day will conclude with an awesome display of fireworks.

Free for everyone! 

The parade, which is guaranteed to bring out some great floats and costumes, will start at Vorlage and end up at Wakefield Centre.

Please note that this event is not BYOB, we will have a great selection of beer, coolers and wine for purchase on site.

Live music, beer garden & canteen all day.

*Parking is available on site and on Valley Drive. Please do not block driveways and allow enough room for vehicles to pass.

 

12:30 – 1:30  Parade

1:30 – 2:00  Opening Ceremonies

2:00 – 5:00  Kids Activities – face painting, arts and crafts, games

5:30 – 7:00

Homemade BBQ chicken dinner $10

Homemade BBQ chicken and ribs dinner $15

(4 services 5:30 6:00, 6:30 & 7:00)

9:45  Fireworks!

Live on Stage from 2pm until 9:45pm

RBC Bluesfest “Be in the Band” perfomances – 5 new bands made-up of Wakefield’s talented  youth!
