Paterson is a bus driver in the city of Paterson, NJ where every day he adheres to a simple routine, observing the city as it drifts across his windshield, overhearing fragments of riders’ conversations, and writing poetry at day’s end. He lovingly supports his wife Laura’s ever changing career ambitions while she champions his gift for poetry.
