As an expecting or new parent, you want the best for your unborn child or baby. You’ve doubtlessly done your research on how to support your child's development from the moment he is born.

But did you know that how your baby moves from birth affects her cognitive, emotional, social and physical development for life? Did you know that, as a parent, you can have a significant impact on that development and help prevent behavioral issues, learning delays, disruptive emotional responses, and social insecurity?

Waldorf Early childhood educator and neurodevelopmental practitioner, Yvette Halpin, has been providing guidance and learning to parents and children for over 20 years. In her seven-week FUNdational Parenting series, Yvette delivers weakly insights, in a bilingual format, on the importance of:

-          Primitive reflexes to the development of the brain;

-          Gentle guided movement and massage to facilitate normal growth and development;

-          Proper sensory stimulation to strengthen the pathways in the brain;

-          Rhythm and predictability to stabilize baby’s emotional responses;

-          Proper nutrition;

-          Self-discipline… and more.

Join Yvette and other new parents and their babies every week for a fun and instructional afternoon that will benefit your child for life.

What parents are saying about the classes:

“Yvette Halpin is a unique and gifted teacher, for children and parents alike. Her workshops have given us concrete and effective tools for parenting our daughters. Even more importantly, they helped to remind us of the love that lies at the core of parenting, and that our role is to raise these little beings to be whole, happy individuals. Highly recommended!”

“It (FUNdational Parenting Class) was extremely interesting (not mention fun) to join other moms and babies that attended the workshop. Learning about each baby reflex and their importance to brain development was very informative and helpful. I can now recognize each reflex and facilitate their integration through change of behavior, especially in a world dominated by baby gadgets. You do inspiring work. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.”

“I enjoyed Yvette's workshop series immensely. Yvette imparts not only her knowledge and understanding of childhood development but empowers you to draw conclusions about your own parenting approach. She is such a lovely, warm individual that just spending a few hours a month in her presence leaves a lasting impression: it has an impact on how you raise your children and how you go through life as a parent and in general. I also enjoyed meeting other parents and having the chance to share and learn together. I wish I could carry on - just for the monthly opportunity to express, assess and evaluate in a 'secure' space. I would have no hesitation in recommending the workshops to anyone and everyone.”

With Y

Hi Lindsay,

I am wondering if you could change the blurb once again in the web site. Although at the web site it hadn't been changed with the last blurb.

Could you also change the age for 0 -1 year olds because it really is that age that i am targeting.

Thank you and i realized the classes start in two weeks from now, week of the 28th, so we'll check in in two Fridays from now to see if we have 4 registered.

Bye for now

Yvette
