It starts with a good idea, and it ends with a good read. In between those two any piece of writing flows from three decision levels. The first decision is what the story is about. The second level is the chapter decisions, the table of contents, the stepping stones from start to finish. The third level is anywhere from a few hundred decisions to a hundred thousand and more—the words. Along the way there is an approach, a style and above all readability. In this workshop we will examine how to find the right approach, what a style is, and what achieving readability entails. Lots of handouts.
